Samsung Galaxy A 50- Why We Love It

In this article we will do a brief review of a phone that has become so popular worldwide, made by Korean phone-maker known globally for their quality- Samsung. You might have guessed right, we are talking about the Samsung Galaxy A50!

So what is it about the Samsung Galaxy A50 that makes it so worth reading about? You are going to find out if you have just a little patience. But we can promise you that you are going to love it, because we do!

Model in Review:   Samsung Galaxy A50

Display:   The Samsung Galaxy A50 comes with a 6.4 FHD+ Infinity-U display. That is techno jargon for a very high definition display screen that is built with a slight curve in the length to make the images seem more real. Think of it like the phone version of those HD Televisions that make the images look like they want to come out from the screen right into your living room. The length and breath of the screen produces 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Processor: Having a high definition display screen would be useless with a powerful engine to produce the content for you to enjoy on that screen, wouldn’t it? Well, don’t worry, this phone does not disappoint. The Samsung Galaxy A50 comes with a  2.3GHz Octa-core Exynos 9610 chipset which produces ample power to enable the phone to play videos and video games and multitask effortlessly.

RAM: Speaking of multitasking, you are going to need ample RAM, and here we have  two variants: 4GB, and 6GB, which is much more than enough because some laptops out there don’t even have this much!

Internal Storage: The Samsung Galaxy A50 comes with a generous memory capacity of 64GB, which is enough to save pictures and music for up to 3 years, and if that is not enough (if you are a heavy user, with so many files on storage) the memory is expandable up to 512GB with an SD card, (
there is a dedicated slot for this)  and this should be enough to save a lifetime (by our own metrics) of stuff, be they images, videos, games and whatever they may be.
Software:  The phones’ software is powerful enough to match the hardware. The phone is packaged with an Android 9 One UI software which is in the highest echelon of mobile sofewares out there in the market today.

Primary Camera: On the back we have a triple camera setup: A high resolution 25Mega Pixels (F1.7)  camera which automatically comes up when you switch on. This is the main camera which does the job in normal conditions. There is also a  5 Mega Pixel camera that comes up if the phone detects that the conditions are not right for the main camera. Still at the back we have a 3. 8Mega Pixel (Ultra-Wide) camera that kicks in when the images are wide.

Front Camera: The 25 Mega Pixel camera (f/2.0) on the front takes excellent selfies, and does freeze –free video calls to guarantee user satisfaction.

Battery: All the juicy details that we have highlighted above would be a pathetic waste of time if the battery was not up to the task. Well, the Samsung Galaxy A50 boasts a powerful           4000mAh battery that is sure to get through 24 hours of heavy usage. If you develop a habit of plugging in your phone to charge at night, you should never have to worry about needing your phone for use but the battery  not delivering. Another note worthy talking point is that the phone has a 15W fast charging support to quicken the charging process.

Security: We know that some of you work with the FBI and so walk around with classified information such as the locations of ground to air defense missiles, and so you don’t want this kind of information to fall into wrong hands. Well, the Samsung A50 is the phone for you; it has both a fingerprint sensor (sleekly built, embedded into the front screen) and a face unlock software.

Other talking points of this phone are:

The phone has 4G network capacity, is enable to receive Wi-Fi signals, and send them out as a mobile hotspot as well. The phone also has Bluetooth capacity, a GPS, USB Type-C port which functions both as a charging port and a communications port, 3.5 mm audio jack which will work both for headphones and for powerful surround sound systems like  car audio systems or home theatre systems. The phone also has a proximity sensor (not very useful if you are blind), an ambient light sensor which regulates the camera aperture and the screen brightness. The phone’s accelerometer does the job of monitoring the phone’s performance and boosting the engine when needed.

If you buy a new phone this is what you get in the box:

    Samsung A50 mobile phone unit

    Travel Adapter

    USB Type-C Data cable

   Earphones
